Why Diversified Energy Specialists (DES)?
We help your business thrive in the renewable energy marketplace
Retail energy companies across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic are facing unprecedented challenges today. In addition to volatile energy prices, competition for qualified employees, industry consolidation and other market concerns, we are seeing significant regulatory obstacles being enacted at the federal, state and local levels.

Several states in the northeast and mid-Atlantic have debated implementing Clean Heat Standards. New York is working on a Cap and Invest program, and other states in our region are exploring programs that will similarly impact the heating fuel sector. Taken together, these trends have the potential to dramatically change how your customers heat their homes.
If you are not preparing for these programs right now, your company could be setting itself up for significant headwinds in the future — or even leaving money on the table right now. Diversified Energy Specialists will help you navigate the “new normal” for our industry.
This is the DES Difference
Since 2018, DES has been the company of choice for companies that want to deliver cleaner products and maximize profits in over-the-counter environmental markets. When you come to us for guidance and support, you can rest assured that we will deliver on and exceed your expectations.
We deliver the highest value in the market for our clients
For years, DES has consistently delivered the highest value to our clients in the Massachusetts Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard (APS) and advised clients across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic about how they can embrace renewable energy strategies to bolster their revenue and proactively mitigate the impact of environmental regulations.
Our clients know that we’re always available to discuss the state of the renewable markets. Today, we’re helping stakeholders in multiple states to work proactively to prepare for Clean Heat Standards and other market-based decarbonization programs so they not only survive but thrive.
We’re in this for the long haul
DES cares about your company’s success and is committed to the long-term success of the industry. We have deep roots in the retail energy sphere.
